Why red? Well that's because my favorite color is red; my love for red started when I was a child. That’s because my mood, my attitude and my way of being can be easily represented with this color. Surprisingly, red is warm, passionate, energetic, intense and a lot of more great things. It is the color of two opposite feelings that frequently are manifested in me, love and anger; also, it is an explosive color, intense and almost unstable. Red represents many things, including fun, emotion and movement, I am a very active person, happy and emotive, and it is another reason, red is one of my favorite colors.
My favorite colors are red, orange and green, which represent my passion, action and calm, respectively. The red/orange kaleidoscopes represents to me the passion with the things that have to be done, if stuff are done just to do them very quickly the final result wouldn’t be the expected one and then you will not feel any satisfaction with your work . The orange/ green kaleidoscope represents for me the balance of nature, everything has its opposite and its complement, and ultimately, do not exist one without the other.
Why is color so important in architecture and urban planning?
Well, I think that those work areas use many visual elements to create compositions that could be pleasant or not to humans, those visual elements can be images, shapes, textures and others, but a very important element is color. Color can be classified in many ways, primary or secondary, warm or cool, complementary or analogous, natural or arbitrary, among others, and probably its importance in architecture and urban planning would be that using a strategic color composition some desired sensations, perceptions and emotions could be created in humans beings, so in this way, public spaces can be enhance and enliven, or new interest areas can be created in the city, and all this could be possible thanks to colors.
